What Happens at Your First Appointment
Your first visit usually takes 45 to 60 minutes. We ask about your medical and dental history, examine your teeth, gums and soft tissues, and take X-rays if they are needed. If time allows we also clean your teeth. Before you leave we explain what we found and give you a written treatment plan and quote for anything further.
What to bring: your health fund card, Medicare card for children using the Child Dental Benefits Schedule, a list of your medicines, and any recent dental X-rays if you have them.
Health Funds, CDBS and Payment
We have HICAPS for on-the-spot health fund claims. See no gap dental for health fund check-ups, children’s dentist for bulk-billed care for eligible children, and dental costs and fees for typical fees. Current offers are on our special offers page.
If you feel nervous about visiting, tell us when you book. Our tips for dental anxiety and sedation options pages explain how we can help.
